In today's video we visit Gdansk ( Gdańsk ) Poland. We have home based in Krakow for for 57 days as we explore Poland searching for the best places to live as a foreigner, or expat. Today we give our first impressions of Gdansk Poland and share a bit of it's history. Gdansk is sometimes referred to Danzig, which is okay in a historical sense, but when speaking of the present, this city is called Gdansk. As we explore Poland we'll share our costs, expenses, and impressions of Poland's livability and quality of life. Krakow, Gdansk, Warsaw, and many other cities in Poland have many foreigners calling the country home. Poland offers a reasonable cost of living and great quality of life. The average US Retiree on Social Security receives $1,550 a month, and a couple on Social Security receives over $2,500 a month. A US Expat living on Social Security if allowed could expect a lower cost of living in Poland when compared to the living costs in the US.

Warren is 52.4% Polish identified via DNA testing with 23 & Me, from four Great Grandparents who were from Poland. We are currently exploring Residency by Descent.
