A brand new CTA Brand Stories series exploring Moldova, a country many around the world know little about, yet one filled with culture, opportunity, insight, and extraordinary experiences.

In partnership with Golden News Kenya, Cleaning The Airwaves had the privilege of visiting Moldova following an invitation by Marta Panco, gaining rare access to the country’s people, perspectives, opportunities, and breathtaking landscapes.

We begin our journey at Cricova, one of Moldova’s most iconic destinations and a globally celebrated symbol of the nation’s winemaking heritage.

Established in 1952, Cricova is famed for its immense underground labyrinths, exceptional wines, and remarkable cellar complex stretching deep beneath the surface of Moldova. Nearly 60 metres underground, generations of craftsmanship, heritage, and carefully matured wines tell a story far greater than winemaking alone.

This is just the beginning.
