From the National Tourism Office, our search for The Hidden Piece led us to another institution helping shape Moldova's story on the global stage: Wine of Moldova. If wine is woven into the identity of Moldova, then Wine of Moldova is one of the key custodians of that story, championing the country's winemaking heritage, supporting producers, and positioning Moldovan wines on the international market.

During our visit, we had the privilege of meeting Ștefan Iamandi, Director of Wine of Moldova, and learning more about the vision, strategy, and collaborative effort behind the growth of Moldova's wine industry. Beyond the vineyards, wineries, and cellars lies an ecosystem of passionate people working to elevate Moldova's reputation around the world. It was an insightful conversation that highlighted not only the economic significance of wine to the country, but also its role as a powerful ambassador of Moldovan culture, history, and identity. With every meeting, every conversation, and every connection, another piece of the puzzle comes together.
