I decided to visit Europe’s least visited country: Moldova. I’ll stay at a former Soviet luxury hotel that has hardly changed since those times. From here, I’ll start exploring Moldova’s capital, Chișinău—Europe’s least visited capital city. Join me as I discover what this city has to offer. On my list: finding a nearly forgotten Soviet mosaic inside an abandoned sports center. But not everything goes according to plan, as I’m discovered by security guards and have to run from the dogs. And have you heard of the city’s iconic National Hotel, the only place foreigners were allowed to stay during Soviet times? I’ll climb the now-abandoned complex and show you what I find.
