Travelling to a country, that Doesn't exist. This is Transnistria! Sandwiched between Moldova and Ukraine, Transnistria is a thin strip of land, officially recognised as part of Moldova but that, for all intents and purposes, operates as a separate country! This crazy place is often described as the last stronghold of the former Soviet Union with communist symbols and busts of Lenin everywhere!
We decided to travel to this unrecognised, Russian speaking, breakaway state in the heart of eastern Europe, to try and learn more about it and its people... Welcome back to the USSR ☭
