In partnership with Golden Connections International, Cleaning The Airwaves had the honour of visiting Moldova following an invitation by Marta Panco, who offered us unique access to the country’s people, perspectives, opportunities, and remarkable landscapes.

We begin with Episode 1: Cricova, one of Moldova’s most iconic destinations and a globally recognised symbol of the country’s winemaking excellence. Established in 1952, Cricova is renowned for its vast underground complex, immense labyrinths, and exceptional wines.

Located in the heart of the Republic of Moldova, nearly 60 metres beneath the surface, this remarkable destination is home to carefully preserved and expertly matured wines, reflecting generations of craftsmanship and the enduring legacy of Moldovan winemaking.
