Russia... Large, endless and amazing.
Its territory and culture are so diverse that you can travel in Russia as often as possible -- and every time you will discover this country anew.
The Russians themselves refer to their country as "Russia the Soul".
Being the successor of the ancient Byzantine Empire, it is a country with a thousand-year long history.
It is home to more than 180 nationalities. For centuries, all the world's main religions have coexisted peacefully in Russia.

For tourists, Russia is attractive not only because of its ancient history and because of its culture. It is also of great interest for fans of outdoor activities.
Incredibly beautiful landscapes and mountains of the subtropics in the south of the country...
Oymyakon is the coldest place on Earth, with winter temperatures dropping to seventy degrees below zero, and it keeps attracting more and more tourists from all over the world.
The Russian Tibet -- Altai.... The Russian north... The lower course of the Volga -- Akhtuba... The hunting grounds of Siberia...
The Russian capital -- Moscow -- is one of the largest megalopolises of the world... Smaller cities and population centers where the traditional ways of Russian life, folk craft and art have been preserved.
And thousands of square kilometers of yet unexplored land in the southeast of Russia where no man has ever set foot.
There is no doubt that these vast territories and their variety have had their influence on the unique Russian character.

Russia... It covers nine time zones and 83 regions -- the history, culture and residents of which are so different from each other. These are the elements that have shaped this amazing country.

Russia Vacation Travel Video Guide https://visiteurope.tv/east/russia-vacation-travel-video-guide_efb5757f4.html

Travel video about destination Russia.
Russia is a country full of adventure, culture and vast distances. A continent, a multi-ethnic country and a vast land unites both Europe and Asia. Moscow is the capital of Russia and the largest city in Europe in which both Tsar rule and soviet communism gave the city its present appearance. The Kremlin is located on a forty metre high hill above the Moskva River and beyond its protective walls are numerous buildings, palaces, towers, squares and churches. The city’s history began with the construction of the Kremlin which lay at the very heart of the city and was for centuries Russia’s spiritual and political centre. A fascinating cruise travels across numerous rivers, canals and lakes within the heart of the former Tsar’s realm, past monasteries and timber built churches. In Uglič the Dimitrijvskaija Church is crowned with blue, onion-shaped domes that are adorned with stars. The red colour of the church is a symbol of bloodshed and the incidents that once occurred at this place of death gave rise to a time of confusion. St. Petersburg, known also as the Venice Of The North, contains splendid buildings such as the Winter Palace and the Eremitage. Twenty four thousand tree stumps were used for the foundation of Isaaks Cathedral that can accommodate a congregation of fourteen thousand. In Port Baikal is the modern Circum-Baikal train that takes a full day to travel around Lake Baikal and is one of the most difficult sections of the Trans-Siberian Railroad that travels from Moscow to as far as Vladivostok. Russia is huge and its nature, culture, immense contrast and dramatic history have formed the fascinating and colourful Russian soul.]]>

Moscow Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia https://visiteurope.tv/east/moscow-vacation-travel-guide-expedia_25127c440.html

Your trip to Moscow, Russia is bound to be a special one. From the multicolored spires of St. Basil’s Cathedral to the sturdy red walls of the Kremlin, there is much to see and do in this stunning city.

Named after the Moskva River—which flows through the city—Moscow has long been at the forefront of the creative world. Tour Moscow to follow in the footsteps of Tolstoy and Chekhov, among others, and join in the sense of pride Russia feels for its literary tradition. Moscow has named a number of its parks and open spaces after its poets and authors, so take a break at the fountain in Pushkin Square, or rest beneath the leafy trees in Gorky Park. When you’ve gotten your fill of literary splendor, head to the Memorial Museum of Cosmonauts, where you can learn about the Soviet Union’s efforts to reach the stars and the epic space race that lasted from 1955 to 1972.

Moscow is a city of creativity and innovation, but is also very much aware of its own history; as such, a haunting part of any Moscow sightseeing is a visit to the Fallen Monument Park. After the fall of the Soviet Union, countless statues and monuments were removed from their pedestals and moved to this park. Over the years, more modern artwork and sculptures have been added, turning the park into a strange, yet peaceful graveyard of former icons.

What is your favorite part of Moscow?

Russia: BRICS citizens could enter visa-free to boost tourism, says Putin https://visiteurope.tv/east/russia-brics-citizens-could-enter-visa-free-to-boost-tourism-says-putin_66a3d5575.html

Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested introducing a visa-free regime for BRICS countries in order to "attract foreign tourists" in Yalta, Monday.

Speaking during a State Council Presidium meeting, Putin also reviewed tourism figures for Russia for 2014. "The amount of tourists travelling through Russia has increased by nearly 30 per cent in 2014, reaching 41 million people. Apart from that, inbound tourism has increased by 16 per cent. Of course, we understand perfectly that the current economic and price situation as well as the exchange courses are playing a major role," the Russian leader said, noting that the domestic sector, has also gone through positive changes despite the ruble being weak and the current sanctions imposed on the country.

An Unexpected Side of Russian Tourism https://visiteurope.tv/east/an-unexpected-side-of-russian-tourism_ca0cbc57a.html

A GLOBAL RENAISSANCE: RI Spring Crowdfunding Campaign: https://igg.me/at/Gp17O7r2ymo/x/11078070
Tourism in Russia offers more variety than you may have thought…
Russia is a huge country that has plenty of places to visit and we’ve already covered some of them: astonishing and diverse Moscow, glittering and charming Saint Petersburg, warm and lovely Crimea, the Holy Island Valaam, which is famous among pilgrims, and The Great Trans-Siberian Railway, traversing the whole country… But that’s not all!

For those who are striving for some unusual experience, Russia can offer much more than that: curative mud and mineral waters, abandoned mines and traces of ancient civilizations, a Russian “Grand Canyon” in the Altai Mountains, and even a sunrise in the company of a sperm whale in the Sea of Okhotsk!

These are all real expeditions organized by Russian tourism agencies, and they are not as expensive as you might think!]]>

Tourism Campaign Uses Bikini-clad Girls to Tempt Travellers to Russia's Coldest Region...
Campaign meant to highlight that winter is a time of 'excitement and fun'

A Russian tourism board responsible for promoting the country's most isolated and remote region is hoping to make being sent to Siberia something positive.

Their latest advertising campaign features girls sunbathing on a frozen lake covered in snow.

The chilly snaps were taken by the Siberian tourism board on the ice of an artificial lake in Zheleznogorsk, about 43 miles from the city of Krasnoyarsk.]]>
