While our travels may have started in the charming Old Town, it wasn't long before we discovered that Warsaw has a cool artsy side. We visited bright neon museums in the art district, shopped in boutiques selling soviet-chic apparel, and got to experience the capital's legendary nightlife. It many ways it was a whirlwind visit, but it was also a fun introduction that made us curious to discover more of Poland in our future travels. Well hello and welcome to Warszawa. This week we are exploring the Polish capital. We've already been here a few days and it has been amazing. It has been such a pleasant surprise and unlike any part of Europe we've traveled in so far. So yeah, this week we're going to be highlighting 25 things to do around the city and we're excited to show you what it is all about.

We came to Warsaw with little to no expectations and the city completely surprised us. Our week in the capital was spent sampling Polish cuisine, learning about the city's past through museums and historical tours, and also dabbling in a bit of the nightlife. Warsaw is quickly rising through the ranks and we think it won't be long before travellers are flocking en masse. So if you're planning a trip to Poland, don't skip over the capital because there is more to Warsaw than meets the eye.

This is part of our Travel in Poland series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Polish culture, Polish arts, Polish foods, Polish religion, Polish cuisine and Polish people.

Be sure to watch this video if you are female and you want to visit Pakistan soon, or you are visiting Pakistan soon because I tell you how I felt as a woman travelling Pakistan.

Firstly, I wasn't travelling Pakistan as a solo female traveller, I went with my friend Tom. However I did spend a bit of time in Islamabad on my own and I have travelled to many different countries on my own, including spending a lot of time in India solo I did think a lot about what it would have been like on my own.

Overall, the main point I want to make is that I left Pakistan feeling completely confident that I would, and will, travel back to Pakistan by myself.

I did experience stares in Pakistan but this happens in many countries and is very understandable however the stares were not malicious or sexualising, just interested. I felt very respected by the men in Pakistan and loved speaking to all of the women in Pakistan.

The one thing that did slightly overwhelm me in Pakistan was being asked for selfies, I took a lot with locals and was happy to take them with Tom but had I been on my own this might have been too much but I probably would say no.

In terms of how to dress as a female in Pakistan, I had my legs and shoulders covered at all times. I didn't feel like I had to have my arms covered or my head except for in mosques. I did buy 2 local style dresses which I enjoyed wearing but I didn't feel like I had to and I was ok in a t-shirt and baggy trousers.
