We take a walk along the coast of Wolmido Island located in Incheon, Korea. Wolmido was an island in Wolmi-dong, Jungu, Incheon City. The island is 0.66km2 in area and the length of the coast is 1km. It was a small island remoted barely 1km from the land but connected to the inland with the embankment of stones in 1920.

And Wolmido Island is a historical site where the UN forces had carried out Operation Chromite directed by General MacArthur known as the Incheon Landing Operation during the Korean War. So on the beginning of the video, we can see the monument of the Operation Chromite.

Various amusement facilities, hotels, and sea resort, etc. have been opened since 1980. Wolmi Festival has been started to be held as a cultural event from 1989 and Street of Culture was established by the government as a part of the special zone of Wolmi tourism.

The Street of Culture is 770m in length and 20m in width. Wolmi Tourism and Culture Festival is being held at this place every year and many people visit the place and enjoy the wonderful scenery of the sea. So it became a symbolic park in Incheon City.
