A Cascata do Penedo do Buraco localiza-se na encosta norte da serra de Monchique. É alimentada pela bacia hidrográfica da Ribeira de Seixe, mas como fica próximo da nascente a água corre somente após as chuvas. Fica junto à estrada N263-3 e existe estacionamento mas como o local encontra-se vedado o seu acesso é praticamente impossível, mas da estrada dá para apreciar a cascata.

The Penedo do Buraco waterfall is located on the northern slope of the Monchique mountains. It's fed by the Ribeira de Seixe, close to the sprin the water flows only after the rains. Next to the N263-3 road where there is parking, the place is closed and the access is practically impossible, but from the road you can appreciate the waterfall.
