A video with the tourist attractions of Guimarães, a city located in the north of Portugal in the district of Braga. Here are filmed the old streets and squares of Guimaraes, as well as the Gothic monuments, decorative convents and mansions for nobility. As a tourist destination, there is a lot to see and do in Guimarães. The main attractions are : the castle (Castelo) of Guimarães, the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza (Paço Ducal), and the Alberto Sampaio museum. The most visited squares are Largo da Oliveira (where is the Collegiate Church of Our Lady of the Olive-Tree), Largo do Toural (where is a fragment of the wall with the inscription "Aqui nasceu Portugal"), and Largo República do Brasil (where is Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Consolação e Santos Passos church).
