Alguns cientistas afirmam que se o gelo dos pólos e todos os glaciares derretesse o nível do mar subiria cerca de 60 metros.
Pegando nesse cenário apocalíptico realizei este vídeo simulando a subida gradual do nível do mar no Algarve até aos 50 metros. Deixei deste modo ainda algum gelo por derreter.
Resumindo todas as cidades da costa Algarvia ficariam em grande parte submersas, o mar entraria por terra vários quilómetros e surgiriam várias ilhas junto da nova linha costeira.

Some scientists say that if the poles and glaciers ice melted the sea level it would rise about 60 meters.
Taking this apocalyptic scenary, this simulation show the gradual sea level rise in the Algarve up to 50 meters. In this way I left some ice to melt.
Summing up, all the cities of Algarve coast would be largely submerged, the sea would enter land several miles and some islands would appear along the new coastline.
