I was very lucky to spend 2 months in the Algarve region in the south of Portugal in summer of 2019! Portugal is fast becoming a popular tourist destination and I fell in love with the incredible surf beaches and fascinating golden cliffs filled with hidden caves, grottos and beaches that are hard to access by land. The region also boasts delicious seafood, interesting natural features and a notorious party scene.

I spent a large portion of my time at the Algarve Surf School's Sagres hostel. I highly recommend this hostel if you want to surf in Portugal and enjoy a chilled out vibe where you can meet strangers that quickly start to feel like family.
