We've never done hiking before and we thought that for our first hiking trip we should tackle one of Norway's most famous landmark, Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock) and this is the video of our trip.

It was a cold, wet and windy day as you'll see, but we made it and it was well worth it, not just for the view from the pulpit rock but the entire hike to the top itself.

Things we learnt from our trip:
-Give yourself plenty of time (both ways). Majority of the people said you could get there in under 2 hrs but with the conditions we faced and our lack of experience, it took around 3.5 hrs to get to the top.
-Going down is harder than going up (the knees kill you on the way down)
-Having walking poles would have helped
-Take plenty of water and food (especially chocolate bars for instant energy)
-There are no toilets anywhere along the way
-Take time to enjoy the view once you're at the top. You deserve it. I saw people reached the top, took a few selfies and then walk down again.
