Lisbon is an illuminated city. The almost constant presence of sunshine and the River Tagus transforms the Portuguese capital into a mirror of a thousand colours - highlighting the city’s unique architecture and beauty.

There are so many things to see and do in Lisbon that visitors have access to a wide array of different experiences.

As we flight through Lisbon - whose history spans back thousands of years – we find streets filled with heritage monuments, and characteristic neighbourhoods where the city first developed and can still be experienced at its most genuine level.

The Nations Park, widely known even to English speaking visitors as Parque das Nacoes, is not a garden proper, but rather an area of Lisbon. The area was dramatically transformed in the late 20th century in view of accommodating the events and exhibitions occasioned by the Expo’98 World Exhibition, such that at present the Nations Park is one of the most exquisite places where tourists can spend time in Lisbon.

The area stretches in the very proximity of the Tagus Estuary.

Lisboa é uma cidade iluminada. A presença quase constante do sol e do rio Tejo transforma a capital portuguesa num espelho de mil cores - destacando a arquitectura e a beleza únicas da cidade.

Há tantas coisas para ver e fazer em Lisboa que os visitantes têm acesso a uma vasta gama de experiências diferentes.

Ao percorrer Lisboa - cuja história remonta a milhares de anos - encontramos ruas cheias de monumentos e bairros característicos onde a cidade se desenvolveu pela primeira vez.

O Parque das Nações foi dramaticamente transformado no final do século XX com vista a acolher os eventos e exposições ocasionados pela Exposição Mundial Expo'98, de tal forma que actualmente o Parque das Nações é um dos lugares mais requintados onde os turistas podem passar o tempo em Lisboa.
