Plan was to go north of Skåne but train being delayed and other changes we ended up beginning the hike in Hässleholm. Next morning was rainy and we started walking north onto the Skåneleden 2… of course half-way nightfall came and we did the other half of the 17km in the dark of the forest, under the rain… not really the most enjoyable but in those moment you test your endurance and when you discover that the shelter at the checkpoint is not a wind shelter (meaning open on one side and exposed to the cold) but it is a rest hotel (a house with a fireplace where you can warm up the all space)… this become Heaven after being under the rain all day.
