"Santa Maria Manuela" is a rare four masted gaffschooner first launched in 1937.
Built at Companhia União Fabril, in Lisbon (Portugal), she began operating in cod fishing and, together with her sistership "Creoula", was part of the famous "Portuguese White Fleet".
In 1993, due to obsolescence, she was partially demolished, only the hull having been preserved.
In 2007, the Portuguese company Pascoal became the owner of the hull and started building the new "Santa Maria Manuela", wich was launched in May 2010.
Now is a Experience tourism for: Bird and Whale Watching, diving, Astronomy and several activities for companies such as cientific expeditions, business meetings, product presentations, conventions, parties with catering service up to 200 people.
