✈️ Where do tourists go in Europe?

???? France keeps the crown in 2024 with a record 100 million international tourist arrivals — boosted by the Paris Olympics. Spain follows close behind with 93M, then Turkey (62M), Italy (60M), Germany & Greece (both 40M).

????️ The Mediterranean dominates the rankings: Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Portugal alone accounted for over 350 million arrivals. Albania surprised everyone with 12M arrivals — over 90% above pre-pandemic levels.

???????? Outside Europe: USA (72M), Mexico (45M) and Japan (36.9M, a record year thanks to weak yen). China rebounded to ~65M after years of recovery.

???? The least visited destinations? Kosovo, Moldova and Luxembourg (~1M each). Russia recorded just 3.6M foreign tourists in hotels — one-third of pre-war levels.
