The Feliks Nowowiejski Seaside Boulevard (Bulwar Nadmorski im. Feliksa Nowowiejskiego) is one of the favourite leisure spots for Gdynia locals. It’s also an important hydro-technical construction that protects the seashore, particularly the slopes of Kamienna Góra. The Boulevard is named after the famous Polish composer Feliks Nowowiejski, who in 1924 composed the opera entitled “The Legend of the Baltic Sea'', inspired by the holidays he spent in Gdynia.

The Boulevard was commissioned in 1969. It is 1.5km long and 10 metres wide - between Gdynia Beach and Redłowska Beach.

The Boulevard is not only a great place for a stroll, but cyclists may also enjoy the cycle path running along the entire Boulevard. There are also facilities for physical exercise and a playground for children.

The quay with stairs descending into the water, conceived as a mini marina for smaller vessels - yachts, kayaks, and jet skis - is occupied, particularly in the winter, by wild birds: swans, wild ducks and seagulls.
