How to get there?

- Catch JR line from Ueno station to Yokohama
- From Yokohama go to Keikyu line and catch a train to Keikyu-kurihama
- From Keikyu-Kurihama station, you can catch a bus to Tokyowan ferry port (10 minutes), or walk there (25 minutes)
- Get a ticket for the ferry from the ticket machine. See here for the ferry schedule https://www.tokyowanferry.com/theme24.html
- Once you reach Kanya port, go to Ropeway (10 minutes walk) and get a ticket (2-way is better). But remember the ropeway will close at 4PM and if there's a strong wind it'll be closed. If it's closed, you can hike to the top of the mountain (30-40 minutes to reach the top hill)
- Once you reach the top, just enjoy the view and the temple. The cost to enter the temple is ¥700. The ticket booth is just at the gate.
