Moldova has some of the biggest wineries in the world and produces amazing wine so it is no surprise that you must visit a winery when in Moldova. I visited two and show you the contrast between one of the biggest wineries in the world (Cricova) compared to a small cosy operation in rural settings in the form of Asconi winery. Both are close to Chisinau and can be visited in a single day.
