Kraków (Cracow) is not only a historical and visual gem, it's Poland's second largest city and covers both banks of the Wisla (or Vistula) river. At the foot of the Carpathian Mountains, the metropolitan area has more than 1.4 million inhabitants if you include the surrounding communities.
Poland's former royal capital effortlessly fuses medieval pomp and pageantry with modern-day, student-fuelled fun into a harmonious whole.
Charming Krakow has one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval city centers, with an Old Town that's deservedly been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The vast Main Market Square is the focus of the Old Town, and is Europe's largest medieval town square (200m by 200m). Its most prominent features are the 16th-century Cloth Hall at the centre, a 15th-century Town Hall Tower and a striking bronze statue of Polish 19th-century romantic poet Adam Mickiewicz on the square's eastern side.

Countless pubs & vodka bars open until dawn, inexpensive drinks, a variety of music styles to dance to, unique events and delicious street food to enjoy perfectly define the intense Krakow nightlife that everyone is invited to join!
