Join me for a walk through the beautiful old town of Gdansk in Poland. This Historic city has been Poland's major Baltic port for 1000 years. Once a powerful, cosmopolitan Hanseatic city, it has been a trading centre for the Teutonic Knights, saw the first shots of WW2, and was the birthplace of 'Solidarność', the first free workers union in communist Europe. It's a stunning, beautiful city on the Baltic coast, and one of my fave places to introduce to our Insight Vacations travellers.
