Watch all 30 of our Philippines Videos here ???? https://bit.ly/2TDpBBf
This video was filmed back in early March before the lockdown occurred in the Philippines. We ended up getting stuck in the El Nido for four months. Head to our videos to go back and watch our time there.
We decided to film this video because we had a difficult time finding information about Coron Town such as things to do in the town, the amenities there and restaurants, as well as internet speeds. Most people go to Coron to go on Island hopping tours but will inevitably spend some time in the town.
We start things off just exploring the streets of Coron to get the lay of the land, checking out the waterfront area. We eventually head to one of the busier streets where we find a great coffee shop with good internet where get a latte.
From here we grab a tricycle and get a rid to a hot spring just outside of town, it takes about 30 minutes of a bumpy ride to get there. The spring is called Maquinit Hot Spring and is a salt water spring. We spent a couple of hours floating around in the water there before coming back into town.
One must do thing is climb to the very top of the hill (Mount Tapyas) overlooking the whole area to watch the sunset. It’s a perfect view at the top. You’ll also find a Coron sign as well as a cross that are lit up at night and you can see from everywhere in town. It’s well over 700 steps to the top so give yourselves lots of time! The sunset view is amazing and not to be missed while in Coron Town!
