Today is my first full day in the capitol of Slovakia. I head out to explore the city, but first it's time to grab a coffee. The coffee shop I visited was right next to this beautiful park in Bratislava's Old Town. The park happened to be next door to the Presidential Palace. After seeing the Palace, I headed up toward the Bratislava Castle. The neighborhood close to the castle is full of very large and beautiful houses. Who would expect that in Eastern Europe? When I went through the gates and up to the castle, there was the most magnificent view of Bratislava. After that I explored the castle and even went inside one of it's large towers. A great first day in Bratislava.
