AmCham Moldova and AmCham Romania, with the support of the U.S. Embassy to Chișinău, are organizing a Business Mission to Moldova, on February 4-6, 2024.
Building on previous “Romania-Moldova Business Bridges” initiatives, this Business Mission will focus on economic opportunities and investment incentives in Moldova. Considering the significant development in the Republic of Moldova after EU leaders recently decided to open accession negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova, our goal is to bring together a group of interested companies for a comprehensive program designed to showcase the diverse and promising investment opportunities that Moldova has to offer.
Romanian Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Ștefan-Radu OPREA and U.S. Ambassador to Romania, Kathleen KAVALEC, will be accompanying the delegation of over 70 company leaders, representing 36 AmCham Romania member companies, led by AmCham Romania President and Executive Team.
The list of attending companies can be accessed here.
The core program will include a Business Forum on February 5, with the participation of Dorin Recean, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, who will present the country's investment profile, and other high-level Moldovan and foreign state officials, who will provide the audience with insights into Moldova's strategic vision, economic policies, and growth prospects.
The Forum will conclude with four topical roundtable discussions on Healthcare, IT & Digital Transformation, Energy, and Financial Services.
We expect the participation from public, private, and business associative sectors, development partners, media representatives.
One-to-one B2B and B2G sessions will be organized by AmCham Moldova to connect participating companies with relevant stakeholders – government and business leaders.
