In this video I explore Chișinău, the capital of Moldova — often considered the least visited capital city in Europe.

Most travelers have never even heard of Moldova, yet this small country hides a fascinating mix of Soviet history, local culture and everyday life that you rarely see in typical travel destinations.

I spent the day walking through the streets of Chișinău, visiting the local market, trying traditional food and exploring parts of the city that still carry strong traces of the Soviet era — including brutalist architecture and abandoned buildings like the famous Hotel Național.

What is it really like to visit a capital city that almost nobody travels to?
