I finally decided to post a video showing two short trips I made to Kraków & Zakopane - one in June (just after Poland eased the first covid restrictions, after the initial lockdown) and one in July. It was interesting to see how things had changed in 6 weeks. I flew to Poland's medieval capital - Kraków also Poland’s most visited city and I then went to the main resort in the Tatra mountains - Zakopane. From there I visited two stunning lakes (Morskie Oko and Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy) - I expected Kraków and the mountains to be fairly quiet, especially in May, but it seems like due to international travel restrictions, there was a domestic travel boom and lots of Poles were enjoying the beauty of their homeland!
