Winter one-day excursion to frontier between east and west, where Poland meets Ukraine and Belarus. Using mostly dirt, gravel and countryside roads, covered with snow and mud. Since our Duster has 4x4 drive, we are able to do it. This distant and wild place is called "Polesie" (that term means: along lot, lot, lot of forests). Enjoying peace and silence and slow life off the main tourism sites. Not only driving, but also visiting interesting and inspiring places - like small, hidden orthodox monastery in Jableczna, where time has stopped 500 years ago...

We started our tour in Dorohusk and it leads over 100km north along road 816 (but we didn't use this road itself - we used byways) up to Koden.
