This is the time-lapse of our crazy road trip from Greece to Russia and back.

The purpose of the trip was to reach Moscow and then we would discuss our trip back. We then decided not to take the same route, but to continue to Belarus and pass through some more countries :)

The road trip was executed within 13 days, we wish we could spend some more, it would make it a lot less tiring.



5700 km in total, which is about 3540 miles.

14 hours of time-lapse footage, which is about 84 hours or real driving time!



The time-lapse speed is x6. You can increase or decrease the speed of the video, through YouTube settings, to your liking.

Ideally, if you like this kind of videos, you can play your own music in the background and maybe enjoy the video even more.



NO editing has been done to the videos. The dash-cam started recording when the engine was turned on and stopped when the engine was shut off. This means that the video includes footage to gas stations, hotels, bars and restaurants, stops for visiting the toilet, wrong turns, U-turns, spending hours at border control, dead end roads and anything you can expect going wrong in such a trip :)

04. Ukraine (Odessa)


00:50 Police to the rescue! We were searching for a store to buy a SIM card with data. They saw us wondering, stopped to help us, told us the store was closed and gave us directions to Odessa.
01:34 Still confused, but still in the right path.
09:26 Missed the turn! U-turn ahead....
14:06 Toilet stop. Half an hour's lost footage, due to our error :'(
10:44 No LPG :'(
21:00 No credit card accepted :'(
21:34 No petrol station open! Back on the road...
24:09 At last, LPG that accepts credit card.
24:19 About 15 minutes of lost footage, due to our error. This is the second time and our last :)
24:49 Google maps told us we were going the wrong way, but we decided to follow our instinct. Our instict were right, we saved 2 hours of driving!
28:09 Re-entering Moldavia! We could not realise what this checking point was for, so the only communication was "tourist, Odessa". A paper with a stamp was given and we continued our trip...
29:46 Re-entering Ukraine! It would take us 1 full month after we returned to figure this out.
42:15 Dead end!
44:06 Wrong turn! Oops....
44:34 Found it. A hotel.
44:39 Let's go party!
45:41 Parked, had lunch and some beers.
46:50 Time for some sleep...
46:55 Off we go to Kiev.
