After spending 5 nights in the wonderful city of Lviv, it was time to head to my next destination.

Most of the travellers I met in Lviv were heading straight to Ukraine's capital, Kyiv. I was taking a longer route that would take me to many more cities before I reached Kyiv.

This was my first experience of using trains in Ukraine and I had read some bad reports online. This video was filmed just as Ukraine was about to enter another period of lockdown, adding another layer of doubt to the journey.

After 18 months of a life on pause, thanks to the sodding corona virus, and endless hours on Google Maps checking out all the places I want to visit, the time has finally arrived to begin my travels in Europe.
