Gdansk -City located on the Baltic Sea at the mouth of the Motlawa River , the capital of Pomeranian Voivodeship.
A maritime center with a large commercial port. Gdansk with 570 650 inhabitants ranks sixth in Poland in term of population, and seventh in terms of area.
The center of the Tri-City agglomeration, also known as Gdansk, together with Gdynia and Sopot form TRI-CITY.
It is a City with over a thousand years of history, the identity of which has been shaped over the centuries by various cultures.
