I don’t like to fly, so here’s how I travel with @omio

From Rotterdam I took a 10-hour ferry to Hull. Calm seas, a comfy cabin, actually sleeping instead of stressing.

Booking the ferry (and the cabin) was super easy, and while chilling in bed I already booked my train from Hull to Manchester with Omio.

When I arrived in Hull I noticed this cafe in the train station. So what better place to grab a full English breakfast. Great fuel for the entire day!

Then it was Hull to Manchester by train. Manchester was cool! It was my first time in the city, having already been to Liverpool (which is next to it) twice.

I loved the rough edges of the city, but the best part was reuniting with my English family!

I met them in Moldova and they were kind enough to have me in their home. Travel really is about the people you meet.

Next morning: another train, this time to London. Busy, expensive, chaotic… but still London. Museums, food, wandering, and of course a quick chippy to end the day.

And when it was time to head home, I booked the Eurostar and rolled right back into Rotterdam.

Ferries, trains, no flying, just smooth connections, easy bookings, and enjoying the journey!

That’s how I travel. Right now, you can download the free Omio app at the link in my bio.

And new customers get a 10% discount using the code HELLO2026.

Thanks @omio
