Taking a gap year in 2022 to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a musician.

For as long as he can remember, Martin Sev has been drawn towards the melancholic, which is reflected in both his sound and lyrics. His musically universe supports his experiences from when he lost father at age 13 till now where existentialism continues to take up a lot of his everyday as a 30+ year old. Through his upbringing, Martin Sev has used music as therapy to express his feelings and to dig his way out of depression and destructive thoughts. His intimate and melancholic musical expression entails stories about love, tragedy, regrets and trying to find the meaning of life. His biggest inspirations are Kashmir, Tim Christensen, Bon Iver, Coldplay and Tina Dico.

Martin Sev brings his audience on an honest and fragile journey in the shape of catchy pop songs where he unveals himself entirely and leaves the listener with food for thought.
