This lively university town also hosts the giant "Exit Music Festival" every summer. "Exit" is a multi-day, multi-stage extravaganza which draws top bands, EDM stars and performing artists from all over the world. The festival takes over the grounds of the 17th century Petrovaradin Fortress sitting high on a bluff over-looking the Dunube River and the city. Twice awarded "Best European Music Festival", EXIT has become symbolic of the spirit and youthful energy that thrives in Novi Sad!
