I continued my journey from Adriivyskyy's decent street in Kiev to its commercial hub known as Podil. The area is the business hub of the city and ideal for nightlight as it has amazing pub and restaurants. The square area is also famously known as Kontraktova Square as this is the place where you can build contacts with the local ukrainian people. Just 5 minutes walk from this place is the Funicular of Kiev. It is an interesting transport option connecting the lower town area to the uppertown. There are 2 cars which move from the opposite directions using a cable and rail network counter balancing each other. The ride takes about 3 minutes and cost 8 UAH one way.
