What it’s like travelling by train from Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh

If you’re looking to travel within Malaysia as a tourist, public transport is a great option.

On our previous trip to Penang, we flew from KL. I had completely forgotten that we could actually drive there in 4 hours! This time when we were planning our travel from KL to Ipoh, we had a great idea to take the train, as it would save us the hassle of making our way through the traffic to the airport as well as waiting around the airport, flight time and so on.

The first thing we did was google and YouTube train travel in Malaysia. We couldn’t find much information on the quality of the trains, or whether this was something suitable for tourists. We decided to take the risk anyway and hop on the train! We thought we could also make a YouTube video to help other tourists coming to Malaysia, looking to find the same information.
