With the kids having some time off school, we took a quick day trip down to the city of Torgau, a beautiful town in Saxony on the banks of the Elbe with an incredible history. With an amazing castle (Schloss Hartenfels) and the first church designed and consecrated by Martin Luther, it is well worth a train ride from Leipzig!

About us:
At the end of July, after a long time of hoping, dreaming, and planning, we sold or gave away almost everything we owned and left the United States to begin our journey with four children as an expat family. We moved to Leipzig, Germany, a beautiful city in the state of Saxony. This is our story.
