German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and his counterparts from Poland, Jacek Czaputowicz, Bulgaria, Ekaterina Zakharieva, and North Macedonia, Nikola Dimitrov, are holding a press conference in the opening day of the Western Balkans Summit in Poznan, Poland, on Thursday, July 4.
Heads of Government, Foreign Ministers, and the Ministers of Economy from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia are to attend, as well as two existing EU member states from the region - Croatia and Slovenia. Other EU member states including Austria, France, Germany and Italy are also expected to attend the summit, which takes place on July 4-5.
They are expected to discuss a wide variety of topics, such as the economy, connectivity, security and civil society with a focus on youth and culture.
