This video shows a comparison of the Top 15 most visited countries by tourists in the world from 1995 to 2019.

The World Tourism Organization recently reported that international tourism is continuing to grow.

In 2019, 1.5 billion tourist arrivals were recorded around the world, a 4% increase in 2018's figures.

The Middle East is currently the fastest-growing region for international tourism, but European countries such as France, Spain, and Italy remain the most visited.

The World Tourism Organization reports the following ten destinations as the most visited in terms of the number of international travelers in 2019:

1. France Europe 90,2 million
2. Spain Europe 83,8 million
3. United States North America 78,7 million
4. China Asia 67,5 million
5. Italy Europe 64,6 million
6. Turkey Asia, Europe 52,5 million
7. Mexico North America 44,9 million
8. Thailand Asia 39,7 million
9. Germany Europe 39,4 million
10. United Kingdom Europe 36,9 million
11. Japan Asia 32,1 million
12. Austria Europe 31,7 million
13. Greece Europe 31,2 million
14. Malaysia Asia 26,8 million
15. Russia Europe, Asia 24,4 million
16. Portugal Europe 24,3 million
17. Hong Kong Asia 23,8 million
18. Canada North America 22,2 million
19. Poland Europe 21,4 million
