From 5th till 16th of April we are on so called adaptive lockdown which might be prolonged
So restrictions during this time are following:
- food markets, cafes, bars , restaurants are closed. But the good thing that delivery and takeaway services are working. By the way in Kyiv, it is nice weather so you can order something and stay in the summer terrace.
And I'd like to share a secret with you - some restaurants and bars are working secretly.
You are not not allowed to post pictures from there and do some check in or so in social media/ The same situation with some bars that work behind closed doors.
- Walking on the street is also allowed. You can have a tour but without visiting museums and galleries, but churches are possible to visit with following quarantine rules.
- shopping malls, entertaining centers and different shops which are not necessary are closed. Let's say I wanted to buy some stuff to repair my house or buy furniture or fabrics and something for sewing - it's closed . Basically only pharmacies and grocery stores are open.
- Different mass public events and sports events are not allowed.
- Also cinemas, theaters, museums - shut down.
-And of course education institutions schools, colleges, universities, institutes, are closed Online education only
- kindergartens are closed.
- fitness centers (GYMS) and swimming pools are also closed .
- beauty salons, hairdresser work by appointment only.
- people still working in their offices but the government asked them and advised to work remotely if possible.
- masks are required in all public places outside, but nobody is wearing them
- masks are obligatory indoors public buildings and transport
- but keep in mind Borders of Ukraine remain open and ukrainians and foreigners can travel
- There are no restrictions on moving around the street. But playgrounds and sports places are forbidden to use.
- Hotels work
- Airports, railway stations are also working
- public transport is closed. Even metro.But actually it is work only for workers of essential infrastructure with a special permission
Doctors and some others.
- taxis work, but prices for rush hours are 5 times higher.

- PCR test result is required from all foreigners
