Novosibirsk is the 3rd biggest city in Russia and the biggest city in Siberia. Novosibirsk was found in 1696 and is now the 3rd biggest city in Russia. With a population of 1.6mil, Novosibirsk is one of the most important cities for the whole of Russia. Founded in 1893, Novosibirsk became an important transport hub when it became the Trans-Siberian's crossing point over the River Ob. Novosibirsk is today one of the MUST stops on the Trans-Siberian.
