Making this video was a time-travel experience for me. I visited several places that are emotionally charged, even after so many years. It is hard to explain what I felt, probably excitement is the main one... but also sadness for the times gone...
Studying psychology we know the importance of the early years of life... I did have a stable home and even a house where I lived for 9 years. Sadly this was the only house where I lived that long, after that we were always on my move, as mum got increasingly better offers for contracts as a violinist. I almost admired her courage for change and motivation to move forward following her dreams and using her born-with talents and well-developed musical skills. Father was never part of the picture and as he said recently - does not care to be. It's a sad thing, but as every such experience, something to learn from and something to move beyond. We have to allow our wounds to make us grow and blossom to our best ability. After all, as we age, we can see that life is about blossoming, not about withering. The body may wither with time but the soul blossoms each day more, facing the sun.
Perhaps one day I will get to visit Mexico and Canada as well, two very different countries that taught me so much about the problems the world has and inspired me to live my life as a missionary, as a global nomad.
