Poland 2019

I recently took a trip through a Rutgers Study Abroad program to Poland with my professor. Before the trip, I and my other classmates had the chance to learn in an interdisciplinary honors seminar about Polish and Jewish history beginning hundreds of years ago. In May 2019, we took a ten-day trip with Taube Center for Jewish Studies, and traveled to different locations within Kraków, Warsaw, and Gdańsk. We also had a mishap with flights in the beginning of our trip, so we ended up spending a day in Frankfurt, Germany. Even though it wasn't apart of our itinerary, I thought it was too beautiful of a city not to add into the video. In this video, you'll see spots, such as:

Kraków:

Jewish Ghetto
Old Town
Podgórze
Kazimierz Quarter
Nowa Huta
Central Square
Our Lady Queen of Poland Church
The Rose Avenue

Warsaw:

Warsaw's Old Town
Warsaw University
POLIN Museum
Jewish Historical Institute
Warsaw Uprising Veterans
Ringelblum Archives

Gdańsk:

Solidarity Movement Museum
Westerplatte
Długi Targ (Long Market)
St.Mary's Church
Polish Post
Golden Gate
City Hall
WWII Museum
Sopot

Hopefully this video gives you some inspiration to visit such an amazing country that holds unimaginable amounts of history.

Thanks for watching!
