We sail on the Elbląg Channel. This is one of the biggest tourist attractions of Poland. The canal was designed between 1825 and 1844. The difference in water levels approaches 100 m, and is overcome using locks and a remarkable system of inclined planes between lakes. When you are in Poland, you must see it. This is the only such structure preserved in Europe.
