Warsaw has drafted a bill to spend over 350-million euros to build a permanent wall along its border with Belarus. Poland has already installed barbed wire fencing to deter the growing number of migrants attempting to cross into the EU.
Our reporting team in eastern Poland has met asylum seekers freezing on the ground in the middle of the night. Hundreds of people are believed to be stranded in an exclusion zone on the border between Poland and Belarus.
