Today we explored Gdańsk, which is a beautiful city on the Baltic coast of northern Poland!

We went to our first Milk Bar called Bar Turystyczny! A bar mleczny (literally translated as "milk bar" in Polish) is a Polish cafeteria. During the Communist era, Milk Bars provided government-subsidized traditional Polish cuisine at a low cost. Today milk bars are privately owned, but partly subsidized by the state, which allows them to offer low prices.
