Refugees from Ukraine: How Berlin‘s Tourism Infrastructure Helps Provide Care and Accommodation

More and more refugees are fleeing conflict zones in the Ukraine via Poland and arriving in Berlin. And people in the German capital are ready and willing to help: We went to Berlin Central Station, a hotel and the old airport at Tempelhof. Everywhere we found an army of volunteers on hand to answer questions, distribute donations or provide a bed for the night. The city's tourism infrastructure is also proving useful: For example, a hotel manager in Kreuzberg is allowing refugees to stay at his establishment for free.
