We invited some talented young college students to come and speak with our girls over summer and share a few video clips with them. Aakash Johnson shares this clip of two sisters with us. And a brief interview with their parents.

They live in the urban slum of Mehrauli and are always full of life, positivity, cheer and optimism. The two sisters Anjali and Sanjana learn the art forms of Kuchipudi and Kathak very seriously from their Gurus Ranjini and Sanjana Nair and Guru Rachana Yadav respectively. They also learn a myriad other forms of art at Shakti whilst also receiving free academic tuitions and supplementary nutrition. Under Brave Kids, Poland and Slovakia they have had the chance to collectively visit Europe four times for a total of 12 weeks!

Who says, poverty has to dictate destiny? With a whole bunch of hard work, inspiration, mentorship and direction, the girls experience the true power of self-worth at Sarvam Shakti.
