Spanish authorities are on high alert after explosives were mailed to high-profile people and locations in recent weeks. Packages destined for the U.S. embassy, Spain’s defense ministry, the European Union Office and a grenade-making facility were all intercepted, including a bomb sent to Spain’s prime minister last month. At this point, former State Department official David Tafuri says the packages are shrouded in mystery.
